The Mystery

The story of jealousy and cunningness started here. God created angles and divided them into different teams according to their functions. Various people believe differently. Some say seven angelic armies, some, three. I don’t want to believe either, instead, I love to cling to that mystery till I reach heaven. Good to have some unknown hidden mysterious stuff waiting for me to unveil when I reach there. Where? There. Curious but straightarrow and interesting enough.

Gaby and Mic are two archangels, we know for sure, as we read the bible. Gaby is the leader of the messenger army; you know it visited Mary the mother of Jesus with a special messenger from God. Mic is the one who helped Gaby when Daniel the prophet in the Old Testament was waiting for an answer to his prayer.

I love this world of reality where angles come and go from God's presence to see humans, and demons fighting with all their might but miserably failing in the end. It is good to see they trying.

Lucy is another character we cannot let go of from our conversation. Lucy, once an archangel, was the leader of Heaven’s worship team. When he lifted his feathers, music flew. He thought of sitting on God’s throne and becoming God.

As he kept thinking of that and plotting it out, he influenced a few other angles and succeeded to keep on his side. Let’s call it trance made by Lucy. So, Lucy and the angels who were in his trance decided to fight and take over God, and the angels who didn’t fall in his trance. With one blow from the Almighty, poor Lucy fell down from the third heaven, and his feathers were cut off.

Lucy later came to be known as satan and the fallen angels in his trance, as demons.  They needed a new strategy.  Surprise, surprise, networking is what they came up with. It’s no biggy, demons keep a networking channel for organizing and attacking all God’s plans. Their archnemesis is God, not us. Till today, they are free to come and go, even, stand before the Almighty and have a chit-chat with God. The way God deals with His enemy surprised me. Maybe because the omniscient, omnipresent, who knows alpha to omega hardly consider them as His nemesis.

One day they will be banished from, I don’t know, the universe! That’s what we named this space, right? After grandpa Adam fell, eating from the forbidden tree, I am not sure whether the names we call are what is universally accepted. Fingers crossed.

Our focus is not on any of those matters. Our center of attention is Adam who ate from the forbidden tree and how God who never fails, reached out to Adam and brought His plan, which satan tried to distort, back on track.

How many of you know that the earth was given to Lucy as its home planet? Once the earth was given as his inhabitance. As God cast out Lucy and his army, the earth turned formless and void, most probably after a sequence of events. God’s Spirit was hovering over the formless planet which we call earth. I love this characteristic of God. He never abundant His plans. If He started, He knows how to maintain and bring it to completion. He cannot compromise His faithfulness no matter what.

At times of hopelessness, when I felt I reached the end of the road because of the lack of insight, one prayer I love to mutter is, “Thank You, Daddy, for hovering over me, Your pet project.”

That part, what all happens when His Spirit hovers over a formless, shapeless, meaningless thing or situation, is also a mystery for me. And I chose not to know till I reach heaven. Good to hang on to the mysterious tread of a storyline.

After a period of time, not sure of the year length, I think, even God is not concerned about that since He is beyond the time parameter, God re-created the formless earth. He put the solar system and hung the beautiful earth in it. He placed time parameters and a whole lot of constraints, like gravity, the stuff Isaac Newton proved, etc, etc. You know what I am talking about.

Another beautiful phenomenon that perplexes me is servants like lightning bolts getting released for heaven’s treasury and reporting back to Him, "Here we are”. I love those last chapters of the book, Job, where God brags about how things are around Him. Things that mum any human. He frustrates the wisdom of the wise indeed. The moment of goosebumps to know that I am His precious child whom He dearly loved. A masterpiece of an awesome God. A unique poem in His special collection. Like in Moana, I am the heart of “Te Fiti”, without me, He can’t. He is a helpless captive of my purple hair lock. Some say, “Nithya, you are proud”. But my spiritual father told me, “Being what you are is not pride”.
